Two things are planned for the pond to support the alfalfa field; first the pond needs to be at least twice its current size; second the plan is to drill two 100’ wells, both wells will be setup with solar pumps, when the sun shines the pumps will fill the pond. With an increased pond size, more water produced by the pond, and more holding capacity should produce plenty of water for the hay field.
